Houston signs Bob Sura and Charlie Ward: Now these are good guards. I like Houston more and more. The only question now is who's going to start. If it were up to me, I would start Sura. He played great at the end of last season. He adds a lot of energy. C. Ward is a 3 point specialized and no point of starting him when you already got Jackson and McGrady who are already great 3 point shooters. Plus, you don't want to be shooting 3's. Drop it down to Y. Ming. Out of the 3s, Lue is probably the most ideal point guard but he hasn't proven much since he left Washington.
Men’s Olympic basketball schedule: The quarterfinals will be shown on Aug. 26th, Semifinals on the 27th and the Finals on the 28th. The way we've been playing, I don't think we will make it to the Finals. Like I said before lack of shooters are going to hurt us and it has. NBA teams better start hiring these internatonal players. Dam, they are good!

Dirk’s 3-pointer to tie the game vs Iverson half court shot that won the game: Iverson might have made the last buzzer shot to win the game but that was nothing compared to Dirk’s 3-point shot that tied the game. What made Dirk’s shot so impressive was that every one knew Germany was going to give him the ball and yet U.S. wasn’t able to stop him. They even had two guys guarding him. As for Iverson’s shot, it was nothing but pure luck (Sorry Tim, I know you’re a big 76ers fan). Dirk pretty much destroyed U.S. on his own, scoring 32 pts (that’s almost half of what each team scored) and it was nothing less than talent. In the last two games that I’ve seen, I am losing hope in U.S. The way we’re playing we don’t deserve any less lucky buzzer hitter.
